Usually you're better off doing colossus project and going on a rampage rather than researching unlocking the L-Cluster. The big problem I have with the L-Cluster is that any outcome other than the Gray is kinda trash, and the Gray are just strong enough that I can't reasonably justify fighting them instead of conquering a neighbor. This is actually rather rare on my own game settings (2300 end-game date) so I often never bother opening up the L-cluster. In general I find the L-Gate is only worth opening if you've got a mature and developed economy with a large tech output and strong fleet, and are in a safe position where your fleet would be idle for the next 10 years anyways. This is random and decided at the start of the game. The other 3/4 times you will get a different event. There is only a 1 in 4 chance that you will get the Gray Tempest. /r/Xenonion (Stellaris' Finest News Source).Twitter account of Daniel Moregard, Stellaris director.Result: Paradox is Swedish" Websites and Wikis Please use proper spoiler formatting if you are going to discuss spoiler content in non-spoiler threads: >!Paradox is Swedish!< Please mark a thread for spoilers if there's spoilers in the main post or if there's going to be open discussion of spoilers in the comments To avoid spoiling narrative surprises for others, please adhere to the following guidelines: If you want stricter quality control, go to /r/ParadoxPlaza BANNED TOPICĬontent that breaks the spirit of these rules may be removed at moderator discretion.
